VETDSSS PARTNERSHIPS
VET in Schools
Vocational Education and Training (VET) enables students to receive workplace skills and knowledge through nationally-recognised qualifications from industry-developed training packages or accredited courses. VET in Schools programs allow students to mix general and vocational education, working towards achieving competencies as part of a full or partial VET course as they complete their secondary school studies.
The delivery of VET courses must be done in partnership with an RTO (Registered Training Organisation), and whilst many schools also hold registration as a RTO, most VET in Schools programs are undertaken in partnership with another provider as part of a third-party arrangement.
Since 2003 AIET has been designing partnerships specifically for secondary schools, combining all the necessary components of an RTO Auspice Agreement with the provision of an extensive library of fully compliant assessment tools, as well as media-rich delivery resources and ongoing support throughout each year.
Our approach is defined by our commitment to support, and to continuously improving our teaching and learning resources to always ensure they remain relevant to current industry trends and technology. Plus, with dynamic integrated platforms, step-by-step compliance systems and each partner school assigned their own School Partnership Consultant (SPC), we’ve taken the hard work out of managing and delivering your VET program(s).
Whether your school has delivered a VET program before or not, we can assist you in tailoring a unique, engaging and industry-relevant program for your students that will result in nationally recognised outcomes and lay the foundation for their successful pathway into the workplace.
